The Chayer's: The Summer is flying by!

We have been having a fun and busy Summer. Celebrating Brendan's 3rd Birthday with a firetruck at our house, and taking our first family vacation to Arcadia Lodge. We had a great time with The Stoa's, Loesch's and Tuttle's. We had so much fun, that we are planning to do it again next year! The more the merrier! Brendan had his 3 year pediatrician appointment on Aug. 19th. He weighs 35lbs (75th percentile) and he is 38inches (50th percentile). Dr. Morkeberg commented that Brendan is quite exceptional for a three year old. He has a great vocabulary using 5 to 6 word sentences. Also that his muscle tone was very good. He had an eye exam and hearing test with the nurse. It was kind of fun to watch him interact. He also did the flu vaccine with the nasal mist. He did great with that! He is all boy and it is almost a daily occurrence that he gets scraped up somewhere!

B did awesome with the four hour car ride to the cabin.

Didn't take long for the boys to get a beer! I think we determined we went through 24 cases of beer that week! Yikes!
